Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Parfina ("Parfina," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through Missed Call Job Recovery, the AI Automated Google Reviews Management add-on, this website, and the AI Sales Assistant on it (the "Services"). It applies to three groups of people: clients (businesses that subscribe), callers and customers of our clients (people who receive texts sent on a client's behalf), and website visitors.
1. Information we collect
From clients. Your name, business name and address, email, phone numbers (including the mobile number that receives alerts), website and booking link, and information carriers require to register your business for texting, such as your legal business name and tax ID (EIN). Payments are handled by our payment processor; we receive confirmation of payment and limited card details (such as card type and last four digits), not your full card number.
About callers and customers of our clients. When someone calls a client's business and the call is forwarded to the client's texting number, we receive the caller's phone number and the time of the call. We also keep the texts exchanged with that person, including any reply describing what they need, whether they requested a callback, and any opt-out (STOP) request. If a client uses the reviews add-on, we process the name and mobile number of each customer the client asks us to send a review request to.
From website visitors. Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed). Numbers you enter in the website's calculator stay in your browser unless you open the AI Sales Assistant, in which case they're shared with the assistant so it can answer based on your numbers.
From the AI Sales Assistant. What you type or say in the chat or voice assistant, including audio and transcripts of voice conversations, and any contact details you choose to share.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Services: sending texts and alerts on a client's behalf, honoring opt-outs, sending review requests, and posting review replies.
- To register clients with phone carriers and meet carrier, industry, and legal requirements, including keeping records of messages and opt-outs.
- To bill clients, provide support, and communicate about accounts and service changes.
- To answer questions through the AI Sales Assistant and follow up with prospective clients who ask us to.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve the Services using aggregated or de-identified information.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use callers' or customers' information to market our own services to them.
3. Text messaging and your mobile number
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver and support our messaging (for example, phone carriers and messaging providers), who may use it only to provide those services.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for help. We keep a record of opt-outs so we can continue honoring them.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers that work on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including telecommunications and messaging providers, phone carriers and their registration partners, our payment processor, website hosting and infrastructure providers, AI providers that power the AI Sales Assistant and review replies, and our review management provider for the reviews add-on.
- Google, when we or our review management provider post replies to a client's Google Business Profile, as authorized by that client.
- Our clients. A client receives the phone number, messages, and callback requests of people who called that client's business.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Parfina, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers, if Parfina is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy's protections.
5. Our role for our clients' customers
When we send texts or review requests on a client's behalf, we process the recipient's information as a service provider to that client, and the client decides how it uses the information. If you received a text from a business through our Services, you can opt out by replying STOP, and you can contact that business or us at contact@parfina.co with questions or requests.
6. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal, carrier, and accounting requirements. Opt-out records are kept for as long as needed to keep honoring them. When a client's account closes, we delete or de-identify that client's message records within 90 days, unless we're required to keep them longer. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. AI Sales Assistant conversations are kept for up to 12 months.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections and access limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It loads fonts from a font provider, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Our payment processor and the AI Sales Assistant, when you use them, may set cookies needed for them to work and to prevent fraud. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may not work.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@parfina.co. Depending on where you live, including California and other states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as knowing what categories of information we collect and why, and not being treated differently for exercising your rights. We'll verify requests before acting on them and respond within the time the law requires. If your request concerns information we process for one of our clients, we may refer it to that client. Opting out of texts never requires a request; reply STOP at any time.
10. Children
The Services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify active clients by email.
